Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 PONTIAC G6. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH, THE BRAKES FAILED. THE CONTACT HAD TO APPLY THE EMERGENCY BRAKE TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WAS A FAILURE WITH THE GEARS IN THE GEARSHIFT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 144,000.
