Consumer Description

WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AT 65 MPH THE ENGINE SUDDENLY STOPPED RUNNING. NO NOISE, NO WARNING, JUST CEASED OPERATING. OUR MECHANIC HAS DETERMINED THAT THE ENGINE HAS LOCKED UP. HE CHECKED RECALL ON 2013 KIA SORRENTO'S AND SOME 2013 MODELS HAD EXTENDED WARRANTIES GIVEN DUE TO THIS ISSUE. I HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT MY VEHICLE HAS NO RECALL. I WANT TO MAKE SURE OF THIS, AND EDUCATE OTHERS THAT MAY SUFFER THE SAME ISSUE WITH THIS MODEL. NOW IT IS IN NEED OF A NEW ENGINE.
