TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 BMW 328I. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AN ABNORMAL BURNING ODOR WAS DETECTED IN THE VEHICLE BUT WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE SOURCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS OR REPAIRS. THE CONTACT STATED MONTHS LATER, RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 17V683000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING) AND 17V676000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM), CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER TO NOTIFY OF THE FAILURE AND INQUIRY OF WHEN THE REMEDY PARTS WOULD BECOME AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE. *TT *JS
