Consumer Description
TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN 10-048, I RECENTLY PURCHASED THE CAR, FAILED MY MOTOR VEHICLE INSPECTION DUE TO GASKET ISSUES. I FOUND OUT THE SAME DAY THAT THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE 2008 HONDA CIVIC ENGINES AFTER GETTING MY AIRBAGS FIXED (DUE TO A RECALL @HONDA). I BROUGHT THE CAR BACK TO HONDA TODAY TO FIND OUT IF MY CAR QUALIFIES FOR THE ENGINE BLOCK RECALL, EVEN IF I JUST BOUGHT THE CAR. I AM WAITING FOR A RESPONSE FROM THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE ABOUT THIS MATTER, ESPECIALLY SINCE THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE.
