Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE VEHICLE STARTED TO SHUTTER AND THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTO MECHANIC SHOP WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE THIRD CYLINDER COIL PACK NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT CALLED BEACH FORD AT 843-839-8168 (855 JASON BLVD #1, MYRTLE BEACH, SC 29577) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WOULD BE A DIAGNOSTIC FEE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
