TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE RAM 2500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V821000 (POWER TRAIN) EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR REPAIR. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTIFICATION IN DECEMBER OF 2017 BUT HAD NOT YET RECEIVED A LETTER OF CONFIRMATION THAT THE PARTS WERE AVAILABLE OR AN EXPECTED AVAILABLE DATE. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE CONTACT EXPERIENCED A TRANSMISSION FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
