Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 CHEVROLET MALIBU. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE "ENGINE POWER REDUCED" MESSAGE APPEARED AND THE VEHICLE LOST ACCELERATION. THE CONTACT COASTED THE VEHICLE TO THE SHOULDER. THE CONTACT WAITED AND THEN DROVE HOME. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO STEVE CHEVROLET IN OAKDALE, CALIFORNIA WHERE IT WAS AWAITING DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 26,000.
