Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT ALL THE LUG NUTS WERE STRIPPED AND THE DRIVER'S DOOR WOULD NOT REMAIN CLOSED. ALSO, THE DOOR AJAR WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL DEALER (ANDERSON FORD, 3900 CLEMSON BLVD, ANDERSON, SC 29621) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE DOOR LATCH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE LUG NUT ISSUE WAS NOT ADDRESSED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 109,000.
