Consumer Description
WHILE DRIVING THE SERVICE POWER STEERING AND SERVICE ADVANCETRAC WARNING SHOW UP IN THE DISPLAY. WE MADE IT HOME WITH NO LOSS OF POWER STEERING. THE NEXT MORNING STARTED THE CAR AND NOW WARNING LIGHT SAY SERVICE POWER STEERING NOW. THERE IS NOW A COMPLETE LOSS OF POWER STEERING. I WENT ON INTERNET AND SEEN A RECALL (15S18) FOR EPAS STEERING AND FOUND OUT IT WAS ONLY FOR CARS MANUFACTURED UP UNTIL 2/28/2012 AND ACCORDING TO OUR VIN# OUR VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURED 3/23/2012. I TOOK IT TO A LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP FOR DIAGNOSIS AND THEY RECOMMEND REPLACING THE EPAS STEERING GEAR
