Consumer Description

MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WOULD COME ON AND OFF INTERMITTENTLY FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS THEN CAME ON AND STAYED ON. I TOOK IT TO A FORD DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID IT WAS MY COOLANT BYPASS VALVE. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WOULD COME ON IF I ACCELERATED AT A NORMAL SPEED, I DIDN'T FLOOR IT BUT MY CAR WOULD SHIFT HARD. I HAD TO ACCELERATE EXTREMELY SLOWLY AND IT WOULD SHIFT OK. BUT AFTER THAT HAPPENED OFF AND ON FOR A COUPLE WEEKS, NOW IT SPORADICALLY SHIFTS HARD. I HAVEN'T NOTICED A PATTERN TO IT. I AM WAITING ON HE FORD DEALERSHIP TO GET THE PARTS IN.
