Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD ESCAPE. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE LOW COOLANT INDICATOR ILLUMINATED, THE TEMPERATURE STARTED RUNNING HOT, AND THE SERVICE ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER (NORRIS FORD, 901 MERRITT BLVD, DUNDALK, MD 21222) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE THERMOSTAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 67,855. *BF CONSUMER STATED THIS EXACT PROBLEM HAS HAPPENED ANOTHER 3 TIMES SINCE THIS INCIDENT.
