Consumer Description

INTERIOR DOOR HANDLE ON PASSENGER SIDE CRUMBLED. THE LEVER HANGS LOOSE AND YOU ARE UNABLE TO OPEN THE DOOR AND EXIT USING THE HANDLE. SOMEONE HAS TO OPEN THE DOOR FROM OUTSIDE. THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED WITH A PASSENGER TRYING TO EXIT. THE DRIVER SIDE NOW HAS PLAY IN THE HANDLE AND I SUSPECT IT WILL NOT BE LONG BEFORE IT CRUMBLES AS WELL. I CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP ABOUT A REPAIR KIT AND WAS TOLD THAT JEEP ONLY HAD A KIT FOR ANOTHER VEHICLE AND I WOULD HAVE TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE DOOR PANEL FOR $350.00+. 3 PICTURES ATTACHED. BROKEN HANDLE, BROKEN PIECES, AND DRIVER HANDLE INTACT.
