Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 HYUNDAI GENESIS. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESTART AND WAS TAKEN TO COURTESY HYUNDAI (939 NEWPORT AVE, PAWTUCKET, RI 02861) FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING, BUT THE CONTACT WAS UNAWARE OF THE RESULTS. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED ONE YEAR LATER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO COURTESY HYUNDAI. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DETERMINED, BUT THEY REPLACED THE FUEL PUMP. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15,000.
