Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 CADILLAC CTS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED INDEPENDENTLY TO 90 MPH AFTER THE GEAR SHIFTER WAS SHIFT TO MANUAL. THE FAILURE RECURRED TWICE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AL MOORE CADILLAC LOCATED AT 9177 W BROAD ST, RICHMOND, VA 23294 WHERE THE DIAGNOSIS WAS NOT PROVIDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 58,000.
