Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500. WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, AN ABNORMAL NOISE WAS COMING FROM THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BIG CITY AUTO (4910 LIMA RD, FORT WAYNE, IN 46808). THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED TO GO TO SUMMIT CITY CHEVROLET (5200 ILLINOIS RD, FORT WAYNE, IN 46804). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND THE ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED CONTINUOUSLY. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE LOBES ROUNDED OFF THE VEHICLE AND THE EXHAUST LIFTERS COLLAPSED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 133,000.
