TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 TOYOTA TACOMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CHARLIE'S TOYOTA (451 WESTERN AVE, AUGUSTA, ME 04330 (207) 622-4748) AFTER HE RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V604000 (SUSPENSION). THE PARTS TO DO THE REPAIR WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED AND DIAGNOSED, AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE FRAME NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE AND WAS ABLE TO CONFIRM THAT THE PARTS WERE ORDERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 204,333. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
