TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 NISSAN VERSA. WHILE DRIVING ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, THE ENGINE STALLED AND LOST POWER. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HAYWARD NISSAN (24644 MISSION BLVD, HAYWARD, CA 94544 (510) 372-2800) WHERE NO DIAGNOSTIC FAILURE CODES WERE FOUND AND THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE REPLICATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AUTOCOM NISSAN OF CONCORD (1290 CONCORD AVE, CONCORD, CA 94520 (925) 275-5634) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CVT TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE, BUT DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 140,000.
