Consumer Description

LIMP MODE- MY MUSTANG ABOUT A FEW MONTHS AGO WHEN IN TO LIMP MODE. I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT AROUND 70 WHEN I LOST ALL POWER TO MY CAR AND THE WRENCH LIGHT CAME ON. I WAS ABLE TO GET OFF THE FREEWAY AND SHUT MY CAR DOWN FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES. AFTER MY CAR STARTED AND I WENT ON MY WAY. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND FOUND IT COULD BE THE ETB (ELECTRICAL THROTTLE BODY) IT HAS BEEN FIND UNTIL THIS WEEKEND. TODAY I HAD TO RESET MY VEHICLE 6 TIMES DURING A FEW HOUR RUNNING AROUND. THE LAST TIME MY VEHICLE JUST THREW A CODE. I DO NOT WANT TO DRIVE IT BECAUSE I AM AFRAID THAT I MIGHT CAUSE MORE DAMAGE THEN WHAT IT COULD. FORD SAID UNLESS IT IS A FULL RECALL I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR IT. I HAVE FOUND OTHER TPS AND A LAW SUE ABOUT THIS FOR ALL YEARS BUT MINE. THE PART IS ABOUT 350-450 PLUS LABOR.
