Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 DODGE AVENGER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE PASSENGER SIDE HEADREST PADDING SEPARATED AND PUSHED FORWARD. THE CONTACT PUSHED THE PADDING BACK, BUT IT DID NOT LATCH BACK TO THE FRAME. THE CONTACT SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE DEALER (JT'S JEEP, DODGE, AND CHRYSLER IN LEXINGTON, SC: 803-220-3725). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. ALSO, THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V668000 (SEAT BELTS, AIR BAGS). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 25,200. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
