TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. WHILE THE CONTACT'S FRIEND WAS ACCELERATING FROM A STOP SIGN, ANOTHER TRUCK CRASHED INTO THE FRONT SIDE OF THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE. NONE OF THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V673000 (AIR BAGS). THE PART TO DO THE REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 204,955.
