Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 RANGE ROVER EVOQUE. WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE AIR BAG SENSOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE AIR BAG MODULE WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V395000 (AIR BAGS), ALTHOUGH THE FAILURES WERE IDENTICAL. THE VIN WAS INVALID. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 66,000.
