Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 KIA OPTIMA. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V224000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING) HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE CONTACT SPOKE TO SAMES KIA LOCATED AT 6621 SAN DARIO AVE, LAREDO, TX 78041, WHERE IT WAS INFORMED THAT THEY COULD NOT IMMEDIATELY SERVICE THE VEHICLE AS THERE WERE MANY VEHICLES WAITING TO BE SERVICED FOR THE SAME RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
