Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 KIA OPTIMA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO CHANGE LANES, BUT THE VEHICLE DID NOT ACCELERATE. IT TOOK APPROXIMATELY FOUR SECONDS FOR THE VEHICLE TO RESPOND. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE FAILURE OCCURRED FIVE OTHER TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (LUPIENT IMPORTS INC. IN BROOKLYN PARK, MINNESOTA), BUT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 450.
