Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 KIA OPTIMA. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS APPLIED, BUT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO RESPOND. ADDITIONALLY, THE CONTACT HEARD AN ABNORMAL POPPING NOISE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ALL STAR KIA OF BATON ROUGE (LOCATED AT 5740 SIEGEN LANE BATON ROUGE, LA 70869 225-490-7604) WHERE DIAGNOSTIC TESTING WAS COMPLETED, BUT THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 95,477.
