Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 NISSAN SENTRA. WHILE AT A STOP LIGHT AND ATTEMPTING TO ADJUST THE STEERING WHEEL TO A HIGHER POSITION, THE STEERING WHEEL DROPPED DOWN AND THE ENGINE TURNED OFF. TO CONTINUE DRIVING, THE CONTACT HAD TO PLACE A TOWEL UNDER THE STEERING WHEEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN UNKNOWN DEALER, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED DUE TO THE DIAGNOSTIC FEES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 6,000.
