TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CADILLAC SRX. WHILE DRIVING, THE CONTACT HEARD AN ABNORMAL CLUNKING NOISE AND THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT SHIFT GEARS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND THE DEALER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 71,400.
