Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FIAT 500. WHILE CLEANING THE VEHICLE, THE KEY FOB ONLY UNLOCKED THE REAR HATCH DOOR; HOWEVER THE HATCH DID NOT OPEN AND THE SPRING AND THE LATCH BECAME DETACHED FROM THE HATCH DOOR. THE HATCH NEVER OPENED AGAIN. THE CONTACT DROVE THE VEHICLE TO EXPRESSWAY DODGE/FIAT IN EVANSVILLE, INDIANA, BUT WAS NOT REPAIRED THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,000. UPDATED 08/04/17*LJ *JS
