Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS STOLEN. PER THE POLICE, THE DRIVER CRASHED INTO AN ELECTRIC POLE AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THERE WAS AN OPEN RECALL ON THE VEHICLE PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V673000 (AIR BAGS). A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. IT WAS UNKNOWN IF THERE WERE ANY INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BACK TO THE HOME OF THE OWNER. THE VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED MORE THAN THE COST OF THE REPAIR. THE CONTACT DID NOT DECIDE TO TOTAL OUT THE VEHICLE AT THE TIME. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 120,000.
