TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 BMW 128I. WHILE THE CONTACT'S SPOUSE WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH IN THE RAIN, BOTH SIDE VIEW MIRRORS TURNED BROWN. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO SEE OUT OF THE MIRRORS. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 43,000.
