Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 FORD EDGE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE LIFTGATE INDEPENDENTLY FELL AND PINNED THE CONTACT BETWEEN IT AND THE VEHICLE FOR A FEW MINUTES. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE LIFTGATE WAS ABLE TO BE OPENED AFTER AN ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF EFFORT WAS EXERTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO NATSEY FORD WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS WORKED AS INTENDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED MODERATE BRUISING ON THE BACK AND NECK DUE TO THE FORCE OF THE LIFTGATE. MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS REQUIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 3,400. UPDATED 07/19/17*LJ *JS
