Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 TOYOTA TACOMA. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS BEING SERVICED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, THE MECHANIC NOTICED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE FRAME WAS CORRODED THROUGH WITH HOLES APPROXIMATELY THREE TO FOUR INCHES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE RECALL WAS CLOSED AND THE VEHICLE COULD NOT BE SERVICED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 123,000.
