Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 AUDI Q7. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V660000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE) HOWEVER, THE PART FOR THE RECALL REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS MAKING A LOUD THUMPING NOISE FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE AND THERE WAS FLUID LEAKING FORM UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 72,000. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
