Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 TOYOTA RAV4. WHILE FASTENING THE SEAT BELT ON THE DRIVER SIDE, THE BUCKLE FAILED TO RELEASE THE SEAT BELT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO LUBRICATED THE BUCKLE, BUT THE FAILURE WAS PERSISTENT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 6,000.
