Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 PONTIAC G6. ON VARIOUS OCCASIONS, WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE STALLED. ON ONE OCCASION, WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE SHUT OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. ON ANOTHER OCCASION, WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH, THE STARTER ENGAGED INDEPENDENTLY AND THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED THAT DUE TO THE STARTER ENGAGING INDEPENDENTLY, THE VEHICLE COULD CATCH FIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 98,000.
