TL* THE CONTACT WAS A REPRESENTATIVE OF A DEALER THAT CURRENTLY OWNS A 2013 DODGE AVENGER. UPON INSPECTING THE VEHICLE, ABRASIVE DEBRIS WAS FOUND IN THE BALANCE SHAFT BEARING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ENGINE BALANCE SHAFT MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V552000 (ENGINE); HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 88,866.
