TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD TAURUS. WHEN THE CONTACT'S FOOT WAS RELEASED FROM THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, THE VEHICLE IDLED ABNORMALLY. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING. THE DEALER COULD NOT REPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 165,000.
