TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 DODGE AVENGER. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V668000 (SEAT BELTS, AIR BAGS); HOWEVER, THE PARTS TO DO THE REPAIR WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT FELT UNSAFE DRIVING THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT INQUIRED ABOUT THE RECALL PROCESS AND PART AVAILABILITY AND WAS INFORMED THAT OWNERS WOULD RECEIVE A SECOND RECALL NOTICE WHEN PARTS BECOME AVAILABLE IN JUNE OF 2017. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.
