Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2015 CHEVROLET TRAX. WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED TO THE FLOOR OF THE VEHICLE, BUT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO RESPOND OR STOP. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY AND THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE SEAT BELT BECAME PARTIALLY DETACHED. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED AND NO INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE.
