Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, AN AUDIBLE CHIME ACTIVATED AND THE "SHUT VEHICLE OFF LOW OIL PRESSURE" MESSAGE DISPLAYED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE OIL SENSOR WAS FAULTY. THE OIL SENSOR WAS REPLACED, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
