Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. WHILE ACCELERATING FROM A STOP, THE VEHICLE SHOOK VIGOROUSLY WITHOUT WARNING. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT OBSERVED SMOKE AND OIL LEAKING UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED HOME. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC DIAGNOSED THAT A PIECE FRACTURED FROM THE ENGINE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 153,000.
