TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE JOURNEY. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS AT A COMPLETE STOP, SMOKE APPEARED UNDERNEATH THE HOOD WITHOUT WARNING. THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V431000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). THE PARTS TO DO THE REPAIR WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE.
