Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD ESCAPE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 35 MPH, THE VEHICLE INDEPENDENTLY REDUCED SPEED ADVERTENTLY AS THE ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT WAS UNSURE OF WHICH WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SENSOR IN THE COOLING SYSTEM FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
