Consumer Description

OWNER OF VEHICLE OPENED DOOR AND LEANED INSIDE TO START VEHICLE. HE INSERTED KEY AND TURNED THE IGNITION TO THE "START" POSITION. THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG SPONTANEOUSLY DEPLOYED. OWNER WAS INJURED. NO OTHER AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. SEAT BELT PRETENSIONERS DID NOT DEPLOY.
