THE FUEL GAUGE INDICATES PROPERLY UNTIL IT REACHES THE HALFWAY MARK. IT THEN FLUCTUATES AND IS NOT RELIABLE. THIS COULD LEAD TO RUNNING OUT OF FUEL IN TRAFFIC, IN-CLIMATE CONDITIONS OR IN ISOLATED AREAS WITHOUT INDICATION. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD THAT SEEMS TO BE PREVALENT ON THESE VEHICLES AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED!
