TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD F-250. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, A LOUD SNAPPING SOUND WAS HEARD FROM THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE. THE DRIVER SUDDENLY LOST CONTROL OF THE STEERING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FRONT TIE RODS FRACTURED DUE TO RUST AND CORROSION. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE.
