Consumer Description

PROBLEM IS WITH THE TORQUE CONVERTER SIMILAR TO BULLETIN NUMBER 16-90-13R ISSUED BY SUBARU INVOLVING LEGACY AND OUTBACK MODELS FROM 2010-2012. MY CAR HAS BEEN STALLING WHEN COMING TO A HARD STOP. JUST HAD MY CAR TO FIRESTONE AND THEY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AND REFERENCED THE BULLETIN. THEY RECOMMEND TAKING TO A TRANSMISSION SHOP OR SUBARU DEALER FOR REPAIR. AS THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM AMONG MY CAR MODEL AND YEAR I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED TO SEE A RECALL FOR THIS AS IT IS A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS CONDITION TO STALL AT LIGHTS OR STOP SIGNS. I BELIEVE SUBARU SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE REPAIRS. *TR
