Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 BUICK LACROSSE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE'S DOORS WERE NOT LOCKING CORRECTLY. THE CONTACT WOULD HAVE TO MANUALLY LOCK THE DOORS AND THEN ACTIVATE THE LOCKS WITH THE KEY IN ORDER TO SECURE THE DOOR LOCKS. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE FAILURE WAS COMMON AND THE ACTUATOR FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 49,000.
