Consumer Description
MY VEHICLE HAS AN INTERMITTENT ISSUE OF A SLOW TO NO CRANK WHEN THE VEHICLE IS BEING STARTED. ONSTAR HAS ISSUED TWO COMMUNICATIONS AS FOLLOWS: YOUR 2015 CHEVROLET EQUINOX DETECTS A BATTERY HIGH RESISTANCE OR BATTERY CONNECTION ISSUE. YOUR 2015 CHEVROLET EQUINOX DETECTS A BATTERY SHORTED CELL. THE ODOMETER CURRENTLY READS 39,000 WHICH IS 3,000 MILES BEYOND THE 36,000 WARRANTY COVERAGE EVEN THOUGH THE VEHICLE IS ONLY 1-1/2 YEARS OLD. ONLINE RESEARCH HAS INDICATED THAT GM IS AWARE OF MULTIPLE BATTERY ISSUES WITH THE 2015 EQUINOX AS WELL AS OTHER MODEL YEARS, BUT HAS YET TO IDENTIFY THE SOURCE OF THE ISSUES.
