Consumer Description

2006 DODGE RAM 1500 SLT TRX4 WHILE DRIVING THE 4LO LIGHTS STARTS TO FLASH AND TRIES TO ENGAGE 4WD WITHOUT TURNING THE SWITCH TO 4HI OR 4LO. THEN THE LIGHT STOPS FLASHING AND THE SERVICE 4WD LIGHT COMES ON AND STAYS ON. THIS GOES ON WHILE DRIVING THE TRUCK AT NORMAL AND HIGHWAY SPEEDS. ALSO THE TRANSFER CASE 4WD ACTUATOR MOTOR CYCLES WHILE USING KEYLESS ENTRY TO ACCESS THE VEHICLE. IF THE 4LO WAS TO ACTIVATE WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS THIS COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT AND POTENTIAL LOSS OF LIFE.
