Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 SUBARU FORESTER. WHILE PARKING THE VEHICLE AND DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL AT 5 MPH, THE VEHICLE SURGED AND LURCHED FORWARD. AS A RESULT, A CRASH OCCURRED WITH SEVERAL OTHER VEHICLES. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES SUSTAINED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 14,000.
